The top of the COA names the brand, batch ID, strain, production date, test date, and the lab that ran the analysis. Match each to your package. Mismatches signal counterfeit.

Cannabinoid panel
Total cannabinoids percentage, broken down by THCA, THC, CBD, CBG, CBN, and minor cannabinoids. Live resin typically reads 75 to 90 percent total. Live diamonds 90 to 94 percent. Distillate 90 percent plus on THC alone.

Terpene profile
Total terpene percentage with each terpene listed by name and percentage. The top three terpenes are the dominant flavor and effect drivers. Compare to the strain's published terpene wheel.

Pesticide screen
Pass or fail per pesticide tested. California requires a defined pesticide list. Top-shelf brands test the full list at low-detection thresholds. Waxx publishes pass for every pesticide tested.

Residual solvents
Pass or fail per solvent. Hydrocarbon extraction uses solvents (typically butane and propane), and post-extraction purging removes them. The COA should show pass at low-detection thresholds.

Pass or fail per metal (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury). Top-shelf brands test every batch. Waxx publishes pass on every batch.

Microbial
Pass or fail per microbial category (E. coli, salmonella, mycotoxins, total yeast and mold). Pass means the batch is clean of biological contamination.
